WestCoast Appliance Gallery can service all appliances that are sold to our customers under warranty.
We also do out-of-warranty appliance service for our customers and customers of other retailers.
Note* We do not provide appliance repair advice and cannot do a diagnostic of the fault of your appliance over the phone, as our service clerk is not an experienced appliance technician.
Our service rates are as follows:
Service Administration Fee
a) Service diagnostic call out fee is $99.00 plus 5% GST payable at the time of booking the service call. This amount covers:
- First visit to your home for one appliance for diagnosis only.
- Service Clerical and administration costs
- Vehicle/travel expenses and fuel usage
- Insurance fees
- On-going technician training
- Business overhead expenses related to service administration
b) At time of the visit, our technician will diagnose the issue and then provide you with a quote for the job including parts and labour. The $99.00 prepaid diagnostic fee will be credited toward the final repair bill.
c) If you have a second appliance at the same location, there is an extra $50.00 call out fee for each additional appliance.
d) If your appliance repair requires a second person to help the technician, there will be an additional $75 fee added to the quote.
- At the time of the first visit, the technician will determine if a second helper is required to complete the repair. For instance, if a washer requires service and it has a dryer stacked on top of it, a second person is required to remove the dryer for service. In some cases a wall oven may need to be removed from the enclosure and this may require an extra person. This also applies to built-in fridges that require removal for service.

Parts
Our technicians carry some of the more common parts in their vehicles, but unfortunately due to the amount of parts that are brand and type specific we will not be able to have many items in stock. At the time of booking service, please provide specific information such as error codes, model and serial number and detailed description of the issue to increase the chances that we will have needed parts at time of first visit.
What to expect from your Service Call
- You will receive a call between 3 PM to 6 PM, the day before the service call and will be given a two-hour time frame within which our factory trained technician will show up at your home. You will not have to wait all day for someone to show up.
- Our factory-trained technician will meet you within the two-hour time line on the scheduled day of your service to diagnose, and repair your appliances. Your initial $199 will cover up to a maximum of one hour of service to your appliance. We strive to complete repairs on the first service call however If parts are needed, you will be given an estimate of the cost and time to order the parts and come back to finish the repair. We will estimate the cost of your repair before proceeding with any work which will include $50 travel fee, plus labour fee plus cost of parts.
- Please note there may be more than one part needed to repair your appliance. If replacing a part would not fix your appliance and more parts will be needed, additional trips fees and labor and parts costs will be incurred
- All labour and parts are guaranteed for 90 days.
- Service Administration fee is due for payment upon booking and the repair labour fee is due after each visit.
Service Call Cancellation and No Shows:
- All service calls can be cancelled up to 2 business days before the service date excluding weekends and statutory holidays with no penalty. Service calls on Mondays must be cancelled by end of the day on Wednesday so that we can fill the allocated spot by other service appointments. All service calls cancelled later than 2 business days before the call or if our technician shows up and customer is not available, there will not be any refund.
Service Calls under Warranty
- Manufacturer warranty only covers the fault of the appliance. If machine malfunction is due to external reasons or customer misuse, regular service fees should be paid by customer.
Appliance Replacement Rebate
If you choose not to repair your appliance after having it diagnosed by one of our technicians, bring a copy of your paid work to the store to receive a $50.00 credit towards the purchase of a new unit.
